The North Area is growing and developing at a fast pace. From the historic Stockyards area to the Alliance Airport and Texas Motor Speedway, the I-35 corridor has seen several business parks and hotels spring up on the vast real estate available. Northside has a growing Hispanic population and strong business base that contributes to the multi-cultural spirit of Fort Worth. It is also home to Meacham International Airport, intermodal terminals and, to the northwest, Eagle Mountain Lake. Transportation and workforce development are the two primary issues identified by the North Area Council (NAC) board. The Fort Worth Herd is driven through the Stockyards daily. It's a must see when you visit the North Area.
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is state of the art and has a visitor's center that welcomes groups, students and individuals. Take a fascinating look at how your money is made.
